Feedback – TPNW Zoom meeting 15th October 2020

Tonight was great, I thought Lee was particularly good on innovation and Dominic so engaging, Matt was fine though I’d have liked more of him and less of his slides!
I think chat is good but it’s not as good as interaction and the back end felt like we could have done with people sticking up their hands and asking their own questions
Hope that doesn’t sound too critical because it was really good!

I just wanted to say what a brilliant meeting last night
I thought all the presenters were brilliant – I didn’t think I would learn anything new but I was very wrong because there were lots of new angles
I especially enjoyed Dominic’s presentation – I don’t have access to the might resources of Just but his experience of giving advice in the mass market echoes my experience
It is not about robo-advice, it is about talking with clients and nudging them along the advice process – it is a very nuanced process

I really enjoyed the session – as ever! It was thought-provoking and brought new ideas or combinations of them, which is exactly what I want from the sessions. It was also refreshing to have a session dedicated to advice – maybe something you could do a little more often?
If you are looking for other speakers in the adviser space, you are spoilt for choice. Lee mentioned one of them – Cathi Harrison of ParaSols and Apricity – although there are many more who could easily be added, whether advisers, paraplanners or those supporting them in whatever capacity – tech, marketing, behavioural science and more.

I thought it was a very well organised session, with lots of talking points and things to take away and think about. Looking forward to the next session.
